Westminster Gold Exterior Repaint in Green Lake

Project Description

This Westminster Gold Exterior Repaint was completed by Tera Painting for Mallory’s home in Green Lake, Seattle, WA. The one-week project included a full exterior repaint, color matching, detailed preparation, front door repairs, and light carpentry around the windows.

The siding was finished in Westminster Gold 200, with White Dove OC-17 used on the trim. Benjamin Moore Regal Select Exterior High Build was used for the exterior coating system.

The front door was repaired and changed to a painted finish using Benjamin Moore COMMAND Satin in Black Forest Green HC-187. The full exterior house painting project cost approximately $10,000 to $12,000.

Background/Story

Mallory wanted to update the yellow exterior of her Green Lake home without losing the cottage character of the property. The existing siding color had faded and felt brighter than the softer yellow she wanted.

The front door also had weather-related wood damage, while several windowsills needed minor repairs. Tera Painting worked with Mallory on the color selection and addressed those problem areas before the finish coatings were applied.
